Ear Tags

The Destron Fearing patented LifeChip electronic e.Tag® system for livestock was introduced in 1993. Passive, electronic microchips moulded inside ear tags are pre-programmed with unique numeric identification codes that cannot be altered. This electronic e.Tag® is attached to animals using the patented Duflex/Infecta-Guard ear tagging system.

Electronic e.Tag® and compatible intelligent scanners are designed for large system integrators and corporate farms. e.Tag® provide error-free identification for automated record keeping and herd management and allow direct connection to proven herd management systems for increased efficiency and greater profitability. By improving the recording and management of genetics, breeding, feed and vaccination records, producers can save time, reduce manual data entry errors and improve overall productivity and profits.

RFID 30mm Round Ear Tag

Destron Fearing patented LifeChip RFID ear tags are tamper-proof, passive tags that offer greater read ranges: as high as 86cm (2.8ft.)*. The tags can also be permanently marked with a visual number if needed. They are designed to be applied with our Duflex/Infecta-Guard ear tagging system for quick, safe and easy, infection-free applications. The tag fits bovine, porcine and ovine and most other species similar in size.

INFOdex RFID Tag

The INFOdex ear tag has a read range up to 10 inches* and weighs 8.5 grams. They can be permanently marked with a visual number and are applied with our Duflex/Infecta-Guard ear tagging system for quick, safe and easy, infection-free applications. The tag fits bovine, porcine and ovine from six months of age. Not tamper proof.

RFID Piglet Tag

This tag is lightweight, only 4.3 grams. The RFID transponder is encapsulated into the tag which is quick, safe and easy to apply with the Duflex/Infecta-Guard ear tagging system. The design is available as a tamper-proof or non-tamper-proof tag.
